Cross country ski trail

January 2006: A magnificient cold (-20C) day in Gosau, Austria. A quick stop while cross country skiing, take off gloves, pull out Pentax and shoot... Unprocessed, bright (snow) scene setting and nothing else adjusted!

ALEX!!!! I haven't been in a while and ohhhh, what I have been missing!!!! I loved learning how to cross country ski while in Europe! More so than downhill, because it gave me a chance to breath the beautiful crisp air and enjoy the scenery! This is quite breath-taking in every way and I am SO sorry I have stayed away for so long! I hope the 'web-mister' has met and conquered all his challenges? #4848760Alexander Czernin-Morzin September 26, 2007
Hello Southern Belle! What a surprise to get all your messages! Yup... these pictures were taken last year. As we are very nice people we were allowed to have a magnificient week. In Gosau the runs are all perfect for "Golden Agers" - come and test them! #4849452Alex T. Mizuno January 11, 2008
To AlexBeautiful snowy scene! Contrast with the blue sky is striking. I can imagine the coldness you felt when you took off your gloves.
