Terrill, you could try for another 10 years and not get this priceless image again! The lighting contrast is wonderful on their faces, detailing the expressions...this image could win any baby photography contest! #2354416

Joannie, Evy, Megan, Kay, and DA ~ Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on my little friends here. I saw them again last night - and they actually kept their eyes open the entire visit! #2398846

This is so precious Terrill! A winner in my books but I see it was posted in January! How could you better this? #2461810

Thanks Kate!

Actually, I see that the image is a bit soft. I'll probably rework and submit it again when I get the time... it's always been difficult for me to prepare photos for online viewing :), but I think it's finally coming together. #2461923

I like it!!
Terrill, I would try unsharp mask at the end of editing: Set at 175% amount--2 pixels (or less-for me) radius---4 pixels threshold. Read that in Byran Peterson's book, Understanding Digital Photography. He uses those settings, and I have tried them on mine as well...not on all but on many.

Oh my gosh, kk!!! You are SO RIGHT! I just discovered what was missing on my shots the other day, but I wasn't sure what to set it on. I never even tried "unsharp" because ~ I was literally thinking it would make things LESS sharp. (Am I the only one with this misperception?) Since I've gone digital we've gone round and round with the lab thinking the problem was theirs! Oops. There drops that mea culpa thing again.

I'm ordering up Bryan's book right this minute.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! #2489905
