What a beautiful and unusual flower - and what a wonderful macro! Perfect image for the CD (feel those flowery fingertips). #51955Jim Miotke My Courses August 12, 2003
Yes, nice work, Robert. This must be one of your images for Bryan's Photo Marketing course... Did you use Photoshop or another program for the text? Great job balancing the text with the subject. #163469Colette M. Metcalf August 12, 2003

Excellent! Robert, I believe this is called "Birdfoot Trefoil". Great job. #163545Robert Brown August 12, 2003
Thanks for the comments.Linda, thanks for naming the plant. I have a plant identification book, and I'll look it up there, too. I was wandering around in an old growth forest with my son a few days ago, feeling frustrated--I wanted to photograph some big Douglas Firs, but the light wasn't very good. I noticed a little patch of these and the light was right.
Jim, yes I used Photoshop for the lettering. In a previous life I used to design books--I really miss it! #163748
