My backyard friend

We Call him Apple! My greandaughter and I have been watching these cardinals with great joy for at least 3 1/2 years. we documented photos of the building of there nest through our florida room windows we saw the birth of 3 little eggs. made a cd and added music tittled fly. Cardinals are very much a creature of habit. they land on the same objects each day to mark there territory. the male cleans the nest each day so as to keep other bird away and he does help in the feeding of the young.I saw him fly into the tree and know where he would go next so I had the camera set on my knee aimed and zoomed and still felt luck to get this shot they are fast. Just soften the edge entered in macro , detail
