Steve I just got a Cokin Infrared filter Yesterday, and can not wait to try it. You mention a preset white balance I gather that that helped with some of the photo having a color quality to it.

Emmett, If I did not use a preset white balance (setting the white balance with the IR filter on the lens) the image would have had a red cast to it. Different times of the day and different types of foliage will give different effects. I'm glad you enjoyed this image. It's one of my favorites. #2262927
