Description

At the Hindu Monastery in Kauai.

Starting in 1990, each stone in this massive structure was hand-carved by stonemasons in Bangalore, India, and shipped to Kauai. Assembly of the temple began in 2001 and just finished one year ago. Full tours are currently suspended while some ground work is done, but they are still conducting mini-tours to this vantage point.
