Cutthroat Lake Evening

Wonderful fall colors captured with a digital Canon camera in the evening at Cutthroat Lake located in the Sawtooth Wilderness (in Washington State).
Usually the road to a trailhead is not paved, but this one is, albeit it had potholes. Ample parking at the trailhead, however on a weekend it will overfill out onto the approaching trailhead road. There are outhouses at one of the parking areas.
The trail itself is well maintained, with an upward grade to Cutthroat Lake (and hence, downhill back to the trailhead at the end of the day). There are three bridges crossing Cutthroat Creek on the way to the lake, the first one a steel one spanning the creek.
