My Two Favorite Guys

Description

One Light Source ~ My goal this week was to make an image using one directional light. I have been trying to understand my V1 Godox flash for some time now & was determined to use it for my light source. In a completely dark room I placed the light at various angles on camera left trying to get an exposure that didnt cause terribly odd shadows made by my dog's nose & my husband's. After trial & error I saw that I needed some reflected light on camera right, so I used a white foam board to help fill in the light on the right side. All in all it was a good effort, my husband & dog still like me & I learned a few things.... Ambient light & a lighter jacket would have made this much easier but who can resist a man in black leather holding an adorable dog :) F 4.5 1/25 iso 400 @ 35mm
