North Dakota Highway 1806

Description

Taking a new way out to the North Dakota badlands, I turned off I94 in Mandan and followed 1806 north to Hwy. 200. This area was so amazing and definitely on my list of favorite North Dakota roads. The rolling hills and the beauty on the hills was truly captivating. I found myself stopping several times to capture the beauty. It was autumn as you can tell by the changing of colors on the trees, and a partly cloudy day making great shadows and highlights on the hills. On this image you get a glimpse of the Missouri river in the background.
