Temple of Belur

A 12th-century Hindu temple in South of India - 200 km from Bangalore. The temple was commissioned by King Vishnuvardhana in 1117 CE and was built over three generations and took 103 years to finish. It has some of the finest intricate stone carvings on its walls and pillars.
