They approached each other at the last corner of the universe, and as they passed their hands touched by accident. He soon turned and got her attention. "Life is too short," he said looking straight into her eyes, "not to wonder if our touching hands doesn't mean something more. I think you're beautiful." She smiled and the setting sun sparkled in her brown eyes. "Not a chance in hell, babe." She turned and crossed the intersection then waited for the next light to cross again. God, he thought, she's beautiful in that light.
