The Unexpected

Perception: It is local legend that a Witch had been seen..... Not being superstitious I ignored the stories over the years. Then one October night, while photographing our Town's iconic Clock Tower with the full moon behind it, the air was noticeably cool and still. Suddenly a loud whistle could be heard in the distance. Then the noise became stronger and then just as I was pushing the shutter to capture the moon.... I now had proof ---
Reality: In the early morning hours I was photographing the moon setting behind the Clock Tower at the entrance to our Town. This scene just begged to have selective coloring and a witch added. With a degree in aerospace and having worked Flight Test and aviation for my entire adult life I have seen many unique air vehicles over the years - A Witch on a broom was never one of them!
