"Perk" came to live with me last December. She was a feral dog, born to a feral mother, and had never had the experience of human love or a warm home. Ten months later, she still cannot be touched. But she is learning to trust and to play fun training games with me. I adore Perk and all the things she is teaching me about the nature of dogs.
