Description

It's been suggested that I crop off the right side to make the trees more evenly centered. What do you guys think? (I like it better this way)

Buzzwoman strikes again!! #156937

Colette M. Metcalf August 04, 2003

I hope you don't plan on buzzing your cats!!!! LOL #156938

Carolyn M. Fletcher level-classic August 04, 2003

Actually, I buzzed one of them already! LOL..Most of the shots don't work all that well, but I found a couple that do. #156939

I like it better uncropped, it gives the tree farthest over some breathing room. :) This was a wonderful choice for the buzz, I love the effect it has on the leaves, and the light is gorgeous. :) #156941

Thanks Kath, I agree. I think it needs the room.
This is the neighborhood that is next to the park where they have the Azalea Festival. It's really a beautiful area. I guess everyone feels like they have to dress it up a bit, since there's so much traffic on the way to the park. #156943

Leave it alone! No crop, no buzz. Let's see the real thing. It's a nice scene and a beautiful place for the fest!! #156951

Carolyn M. Fletcher level-classic August 04, 2003

Ok, here's the original unbuzzed uncropped! #156956

What a beautiful photo. I love the effect. Ilike the cropped version best. #156963

I guess it depends on what look your looking for. I like them both! #156970

Carolyn, It's all in the eye of the beholder...I like the cropped one...either one is a beautiful image..!! #156977

Murry Grigsby August 04, 2003

I think that buzzing sound must be driving me bonkers because I don't see how you got either of the buzzed versions from the original you posted. Are you messing with my head? The original that you posted doesn't even have the same tree arrangement. Where is my coffee? By the way I like you original post just fine! #157006

Dolores Neilson August 04, 2003

The cropping doesn't create enough difference ...they both are wonderful!! Love the buzzing, Carolyn! #157072

Joy Brown August 04, 2003

Whichever you use, they are all awesome, Carolyn!!!! #157086

Patricia Marroquin August 04, 2003

What an interesting discussion. My first thought, before you posted the cropped version, was that cropped to center the trees would be best. But then, after seeing the cropped version, I thought the uncropped was better for the reason Kath mentioned. All the versions are simply gorgeous, Carolyn! #157092

Darren K. Fisher August 04, 2003

I like the uncroped version. Such a beautiful composition and the BuZZ is once again used very well. #157168

August 04, 2003

oh wow just beautiful both of them!!!! #157182

Leanne M.E. Boyd August 04, 2003

All very beautiful, Carolyn, but my preferance is the the uncropped version - I like that bit of blue peeking through. #157253

Carolyn M. Fletcher level-classic August 04, 2003

Thanks everyone..Murry you aren't crazy. I guess I buzzed my original, and thought that other version was the original. I was in a hurry. Husband had some minor surgery today and I was rushing to get him over there in time. Sorry about that. I suppose you have been out all day having your head examined, when all the time it was mine that needed examining!!!! #157324

Hi Carolyn, After reviewing them over and over, I have decided on the cropped version. The uncropped runs a close second.I'll have to admit that you sure are good with the buzz effect and it does add that little 'something' to the scene. #157584

Carolyn M. Fletcher level-classic August 05, 2003

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the comments. Donna, especially yours, since I'm pretty sure you aren't much of a filter lover. #157597

Jean Papo August 11, 2003

I love both the uncropped version and the original, unbuzzed version! It is a beautiful photo any way you look at it! It's fun to see everybody's opinions too! #163174
