Unexpected company on the trail

Uploaded: August 26, 2020 | Entered: August 26, 2020 17:45:47

Taking in an late afternoon hike to capture a sunset shoot over a river valley and I encountered these beauties on the trail. I first overlooked this image from May and when going back through my files it drew me in. I like the story of the image, of how the cattle are taking in the shade of this beautiful oak tree and how there are more in the distance and it's somewhat foggy.
