As a city girl, I don't have a backyard as such; I use the nearby Crissy Field as my yard. This egret was uncharacteristically hunting in the outlet of the marsh -- rather than in the marsh itself -- when I visited for a walk last week. I didn't have a long lens with me but I couldn't resist trying a few shots.

You achieved the goal with this capture. Very well composed, with the patterns of his steps having great directional lines to his steps. Look around you even in a city you will find great subjects. A FAV <>< #11732296Terry Cervi October 24, 2018
