Such a calm river during very low tide on a normaly shallow point of the river.Different Seaweeds(Algae`s),some exposed,reflecting different lighting qualities,and the City of Perth in the background.Perth,Western Australia.15Dec,2005. 12.01PM.

Fabulous colours Joe and the city looks great in the background. We don't get big clumps of green seaweed in our estuary. But we do get a lot of algae now when we have a hot summer and this is since they stopped us using lead in anti fouling. #360199

Kate I apologise for missing your comments here...yes it slipped past me.These colours are realy so different and wonderful when the tide is low at this time of the year.No lead paint here either now.These macro algae have always been part of our estuary and peoples complained of the smell when they rotted on the shore at certain times of the year.But they are no problem........The problem today are those microscopic toxic blue-green algaes etc,they are the big problem.Thanks again Kate. #2211441
