Description

Taken in 2006 during our Tundra Buggy adventure to photograph Polar Bears. Frontiers North had not had a breakdown in 8 years but on our move from Gordon Point to Cape Churchill one of the supply Tundra Buggies broke an axle. Had to have helo come in from Churchill, pick up the mechanic, find another axle, fly back and fix it before we could move on. Took 6 hours but was the best day we had for photographing the Polar Bears. Got to Cape Churchill on Lake Hudson at 12 midnight.

What a great memory. What a job that crew had. Love the dof and snow color. #1713802

I was thinking it was the tire the bear was chewing on in your other image Emile:-) Like they always say all's well that ends well!! Have to hand to the crew and company to get the repairs done and you back on track!! #11722428
