Reflection

Description

A temporary internal space created by mirrors placed opposite each other, within a larger room at San Giorgio Maggiore. Part of an art installation in which a prie dieu kneeling bench, a Buddha carving and a prayer rug (the later two seen here) are each set right against an individual standing mirror, and so the opposite mirror creates the infinitely repeated reflections.

Very cool effect with the mirrors and between the set-up and your angle, an intriguing resulting composition. #11705888

Thanks a lot, Nikki! It was a simple, but effective installation -- anywhere you stood in the middle, you saw all three religious elements reflected all around you, indefinitely. #11705952
