Web Against the Sky

Description

On a conservation area hike, I almost ran into this very large, dew-bedecked web. I was fascinated by the look of it against the sky and clouds. What I didn't think about was the very large spider that probably made the web and lurked nearby. I finally ducked under it to go on my way. For the PG101 clouds theme.

Awesome find & capture. It looks like a spiders ferris wheel. #11691657

This is perfect IMO. The web adds fine and unusual interest to the sky while still letting the clouds have their say. #11691881

I'm imagining Charlotte created this web, and her little pig friend Wilbur is waiting to be saved from the smoke house... Fabulous find and capture, Mitch!

What's most interesting is that there's nothing in the frame that's supporting the spider's web - it's just like it's floating out of nowhere. Nice capture, Mitch. #11691920
