Description

From a bright summer's day visit to Arlington National Cemetery; I spotted this squirrel climbing a tree. Given the bright background, and the shaded side of the tree, the squirrel slipped into silhouette. PG101 Silhouette Theme.

I like the soft, organic outlines of the little squirrel as contrasted with the cold, hard rocks of the stones. It's a life-goes-on image. #11646989

It's as if it's paying homage to the fallen soldiers. Pointing to the heavens, too. #11647254
