Super Hunter Moon

While my new zoom comes in at 400mm, providing a little more reach than my old 300mm, the full moon still forms just a teensy part of the full frame exposure. (Conveniently, pretty much exactly the size of the spot-metering circle in the viewfinder!) So I'll take all the help I can get -- such as having the moon 16,000 miles closer to Earth right now, than its average distance. (It will come closer still, for November's full moon; hopefully I'll remember to get out at moon-rise!) PG101 "After Dark" theme.
