Description

Sweepstakes was a Canadian schooner built in Burlington, Ontario in 1867. It was damaged off Cove Island, then towed to Big Tub Harbour in the Georgian Bay of Lake Huron where it sank in September 1885.

I shot this from the tour boat using a Circular Polarizer to reduce the glare in the water. This ship is about 4 metres or 12 feet under the surface of the water.

Looks like it could be a Scuba diving Meca but Drysuits or heavy wet suits for the cold of the lake. Great capture... #1670337
