This egret was sure enjoying his fishing that morning at Assateague NWR. He seemed to be unusually dirty from his fishing expedition, so I think he was just one to do a lot of extra splashing around. I used my Canon 100-400 mm L lens at 400 mm with IS activated, hand held. Settings were f5.6, 1/800, ISO 640.
