Breakfast in the Snow

Description

Every year swans from north Europe come to my town to spend winter here on the river. They are very friendly. When they see peole coming to them, they get out of the water for food. They eat from the hand. this year there are 12 of them, 4 of them are very young and quite shy, they don´t come near peole. It is such a privilage to be near them.

What a delightful image, and story to go with it, Marijana!! I love that foggy background, which really makes the swans stand out against it! #1646810

I love the tones on this beautiful capture, Marijana. I also like how they almost look as if they could emerge from the scene. Beautiful capture. #11421386

Beautiful image Marijana. We only have two white swans in our city. We have plenty of black swans. The two white swans are currently at a bird rescue centre because someone decided to shoot them both, how sick is that! #11421739
