Description

Mantas are considered vulnerable due to oriental fishing. Also contributing to this is their long 1 year gestation before delivering the pup. These fish are seldom seen and difficult to study in the wild with makes these at the Atlanta Aquarium even more important. Enjoy these graceful fish. They will frequently breach the ocean surface for unknown reasons.

Some more great information Emile and I just love that you got this shot as it goes in the opposite direction. It really gives us another beautiful look at its amazing features. Love the air bubbles and the other fish swimming around. Makes for a gorgeous underwater scene. #11359146
