Description

I took this cool EOD image at the
DRAGSHOLM CASTLE - 1500's
In Denmark May 2015

This was such a neat idea they had, to put little vases on very very long strings for a touch of uniqueness and class!!
This Castle Was built in the 1500's
And this staircase was so saggy and crooked. Almost sunken in spots.
It makes me wonder if they are the original stairs! It was a little creepy and completely awesome at the same time!

I love this one, SSSLala.
The flower is such an attention grabber.
And the sense of hight is fantastic. I'm getting dizzy just by looking at it. #11322475

Hi Bojan, Gord, R,J, SSSKiki, Bro John and Michelle! I had a BLAST exploring the entire castle, just me and my two cameras. They let you explore on your own and there are no ropes that say KEEP OUT. NONE! It is like you are family there for the night. It is a smaller Castle. You can sit anywhere and read or relax, and truly feel like a guest. There are so many rooms there! I loved it. Fireplaces heated the castle and were burning here and there. So charming. I wish we could add more photos into these threads because I'd love to share more minor images that I loved. Thanks everyone. And Thank you Kiki for telling me behind the scenes that this would be a great entry. :))) Great to see each of you! Thanks for the visit. SSSLala :D #11322743

Great POV and composition! (Too bad about your non-aurora experience. I thought Iceland was THE place to see it! Maybe too much light this time of year. Mine was the only time that I had seen the aurora here- although I have been looking for the past 3 years!) #11322762

I know, Carol. We got jipped! Lol...Yes, I think it was the time of year for sure but I may be wrong. They had tours that were at night too but so expensive and then what if the Northern Lights are not showing that night! :) I'm glad you got some a wonderful display at your place! WOW! #11323016
