Description

I believe this to be a Downy Paintbrush but am not exactly sure. If anyone knows for sure let me know. The petal-like brackets which are the most obvious part of all paintbrushes are a beautiful rose-pink as these are.

Doing a bit of research, I think you're correct in your ID, Emile. This is sure one beautiful wildflower - I've never seen a pink paintbrush before but sure hope I do run across one someday.
