Description

2-19 catch all
How many of you have used these old wonders?? I, of course, being far to young to remember, had to ask what it was!! LOL!! I do remember my mother using an old wringer, and telling us not to put our hands near the rollers. My cousin was a very curious young fellow, and just couldn't resist. He yelled so loud he upset my mom's dog, and the dog bit him in the fanny before mom could get his fingers out of the rollers!

Some people just have to learn by experience...great capture and choice of "old-fashioned" effects, Teresa. I remember my mother using one of these ~ with five kids and a husband's daily barber towels, it's a wonder she had time to cook and clean, etc. Happy Mother's Day, Mom, on whatever cloud you're on! #1617416

Teresa, you're sure going back! I remember staying with one of my aunts, washing clothes in an iron pot (I even got to stir the pot) over an open fire then rinsing and ringiing in one of these. Been there, done that! Mom made SURE I could cook, clean, wash clothes and iron before we left the nest!! Glad you ladies have the modern conveniences or I'd be missing out on some fantastic photography! Beautiiully done!!! #11300275
