I like your perspective on this image, Dee! Great shot! Nice image! #351275Katrina McMeans December 01, 2005 0
Very pretty, Dee! I love the way the rain affected the colors and lighting...has a certain melancholoy romantic feel to it! This makes me think of Paris! Very beautiful work, Dee! ; )Dee Caraballo December 01, 2005 0
Thank you folks. Howie, you are right on the money. I am ashamed (well, maybe not THAT ashamed) to admit a lazy moment where I refused to do it right. I don't know why I do that but I do! But you, Sandra and Katrina keep me honest! :) #2139713Dee Caraballo December 01, 2005 0
Thank you folks. Howie, you are right on the money. I am ashamed (well, maybe not THAT ashamed) to admit a lazy moment where I refused to do it right. I don't know why I do that but I do! But you, Sandra and Katrina keep me honest! :)I took the time to do it a little closer to how I should have. I really suck at blending so it's still not great, but is it not as shocking a drop from blur to focus? #2139808

Thanks Howie. Truth is I ALWAYS work with layers, because I once did ruin an image by working on it directly. Learned my lesson for sure.My biggest problem is sloppiness (as with the umbrella in this case). Instead of using a smaller brush to handle the edges, I wanded it and smacked it with a big one just to "get it done". I'll keep working on it! #2140701

I simply love this Dee, Life imitating Art. I would also like to thank Howie for the PS lesson, can't wait to give it a try! #2148185Kay Beausoleil December 14, 2005 0
An interesting thread. Maybe the postprocessing needed work, but the capture was great. You composed the story so well that the image didn't need explaining. And oh, how you got the Wet across! #2186486Kathleen Lynch February 16, 2006 0
I really like this one Dee. It has a wonderful feel to it. It reminds me of Paris very much. Well done. #2423722Larissa M. November 02, 2006 0
Very good picture, Dee! I agree with Katrina, before I saw her comment, I was thinking about Paris!: )
