Description

Great Bowerbird (Chlamydera nuchalis)
Found across northern Australia. I'm pretty sure this is the male, he has a Lilac-pink crest hidden except during display. The female only has a very small crest in comparison - he was very amusing to watch while he pondered of his bower.
F5.3, ISO400, 1/30s, 200mm taken May 2014, adjustments in PSCS4.

Exif: F Number: 5.3, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 10/300 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 400, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 200.00 mm, Model: NIKON D300S
