Kite Day at Terhune Orchards this past Saturday seemed to be a source of frustration and bewilderment. There was plenty of wind and plenty of kids--but there were not too many kites that managed to stay aloft. This one had just come crashing down!

We had "Kite Day" in elementary School when we were kids and we had to make our own kites in the classroom to fly on that special day. It was always pretty hilarious back in those cave man days of our youth. It doesn't look like the kids are having much luck these days either, even with modern technology?! :) Good thing Ben Franklin had it down! :DGreat timing in this sweet capture, Michelle!
