Breakthrough I

I was exploring at the local boat ramp here at Lake Guntersville Alabama during the first of several unusual cold spells which left ice across the surface of the lake. About an hour before sunset the late afternoon sun highlighted both the dock and the far shore in an amazing brilliance. the open water reflects the clouds overhead while the broken shads of ice are seen on the surface of the intact ice. The afternoon light then makes the distant building appear golden.
