Platform View

Uploaded: February 02, 2014

Description

The view east, down the nave vaulting, from the scaffolding platform that sits 75 feet above the floor of the nave. If you look through the black earthquake debris netting at the lower left, you can see the floor of the nave, the choir screen, etc. This image was taken when I first arrived at the platform; the sun was not yet at the right angle to paint the ribs with light.

Thank you, Reynaldo! If you ever swing through D.C., look me up; I love to give cathedral tours to fellow BP members! #10984776
