Ice Jam Morrisville PA

Uploaded: January 10, 2014

Description

----
The recent deep freeze in Southeastern Pennsylvania (and loads of other locales) played havoc with the Delaware River. Ice jammed near the famous "Trenton Makes" bridge that spans the Delaware between Morrisville, PA and Trenton, NJ. This led to moderate flooding on both banks.
----
The freezing and thawing cycle can add to the crisis. Fortunately the next few days will keep temps above the freezing point.

I LOVE the contrasts in this, Michelle. The temperature was 22 yesterday here in Pittsburgh, and I thought I was in Florida. Balmy!!!!!!!!!!!! #1558880

Love the read behind the photo and a beautiful job with the picture to show how the cold affects the river and the results of flooding that can take place when this condition takes place. Beautifully done Michelle. #10942696

Beautiful art work and tones. Looks pretty cold to me, especially since our temps have been running in the middle to upper 70's. We need the moisture badly though. #10949351
