I'm not a professional photographer, but I like a lot this picture, specially the cotraste, the color saturation and the detail. The detail is simply gorgeous.
Don't worry about the picture selection criteria. I don't know how (or who) choose the finalists, winners, the picture of the day, etc. I think the really important thing is that you enjoy and share your work. #10958783
