Yes...you just HAD to be with those amazing gals! I'm impressed with the fact that the upper half of the image seems centered and almost symmetrical, but the bottom half is angled to a centered vanishing point. How'd you DO THAT? #1551646

Love this image of St. Alphonsus, Chris. One of my favorite things about this church is the color - the vivid blue and the delicate cream - and you nailed it here! #10893015

Thanks, folks!
Michelle; I didn't do anything unusual here - even though I'm positioned right of center (on the aisle carpet) I placed the altar essentially horizontally centered in the composition. If you look really closely, the upper half is not actually "centered" either, as a result, though it looks close to it. I suspect he length of the building "smooths out" some of the differences, visually -- and my lower point of view helps too; the aisle carpet clearly doesn't appear centered, but I'm closest to it, compared to the ceiling, so the look of off-centeredness is more pronounced in the bottom half of the image, being closer to the lens. #10893713

I recently opened my e-mail and found an announcement from Better Photo that the month of November award winners were basking in the glory of finding their name beside their beautiful entry. CONGRATULATIONS!
