Tiny field weed
Uploaded: July 10, 2003
I made this image in an overgrown field down the street from where at about 7pm . It was very overcast with dark clouds. There were occasional gusts of wind with blowing rain.. I used the 70-200 lens and 20mm extension tube. The camera was placed on a mini tabletop tripod and set on the ground. I opened the aperature up to 4.0 . Shutter speed 1/30. 0exposure comp. I took the reading from the light green area of the plant. My focal length with the extension tube attached was 149mm. RAW mode.

Great detail, Donna!!! #45236Donna R. Moratelli July 10, 2003
Thanks for the comment Colette!!. This type of work is something that I don't usually like to do, but I couldn't let the summer go by without shooting a few wild flowers with my extension tubes. It was a very inspiring experience though, I must admit. #139600Marcy July 10, 2003

Wonderful shot Donna. By the way, how mini is your tripod? Mine is 10" for the shortest. I still havent used it yet, but plan on it as soon as the rain stops for 5 minutes!! #139677Leanne M.E. Boyd July 10, 2003
