"Grand" Shoes

Last night I had the distinct joy of photographing the Tenth Anniversary Celebration of the Philadelphia Red Cross House at the incredible Penthouse home of a philanthropist couple--supporters of the Red Cross House and countless other charitable organizations.

I wish I could display some of the really good photos here, but it probably wouldn't be condoned; I did not ask for permission.

I can say that I was up very high and that all sides of the apartment were surrounded by an outdoor "deck" overlooking the most famous Philadelphia sites.

It had been raining last night, so the decks were wet, and the wind threatened (according to my acrophobic brain) to carry me into the river below. So I could only spend a minute shooting this wet bench with three little pairs of colorful grandchildren shoes beneath it.
