Please tell me that this trap wasn't rigged! It's a very clear closeup but it's too sad if it was! The rat or mouse is so cute, and I hope this was just a picture setup; right? #44854

I know exactly what you are talking about so that mean that I will try to give you ( in my best Englisch) all the answers :

we are living here in Portugal in the country-side with LOADS of rats.
As you know : they are dangerous for people.
So...to much of them and you have the obligation to do something.

There are 2- ways to protect yourself and the envirement :

1) killing them bij poissingen
which is very very painfull and
not ,,human,,
2) use the old trap like the one on that
picture and the rats are dead in a
split second

So every day we have to kill many rats.
But we are NOT doing this for fun., its always a terrible job to do but there is no alternative.

So: at the end of this story : that picture is totaly real.
Is shows all and its NOT fun.
But...I deciede to place this picture b/c/ its also a part of our daily live.

I am sorry to inform you b/c I understand that my picture give you some sad feelings.

regards.,
