Dale I really like this one and think its a really neat image. The reflection and comp work well for me. The only thing I might do is add a little to the bottom so his butt isn't so close to the edge. #1541483Dale Hardin August 23, 2013 0
Thank you Memoriee. I already added some to the bottom because it was clipped before. Will be easier now so will give it a try.this guy was attached to a window for an entire day. Next day found only a dried up shell. #10817413

Very cool capture, Dale. Love the revised version, and have no suggestions to change it further. Welcome back! #10817479Dale Hardin August 23, 2013 0
Thank you Susan. Have a lot of catching up to do and over 2000 images to sort through from the trip. Had a great time. #10817482Peggy Kahan August 24, 2013 0
Very nice details, reflection and capture, Dale, and I like the revision. Only suggestion I have would be to try a vertical crop. #10818554Dale Hardin August 24, 2013 0
Thank you Peggy. Is this what you had in mind? #10818650Peggy Kahan August 24, 2013 0
Thanks, Dale. And, yes that's pretty much what I was thinking about although it's a little tight on him. I was imagining more space on the sides and top if possible. Otherwise, I like the one with Memoriee's suggestion.Susan Williams August 24, 2013 0
I think the vertical is a great idea and agree with a little more space. #10819388Dale Hardin August 24, 2013 0

I think your second edit is perfect, Dale. I like the Mayfly in unrestricted space, with room to come and go, or stay, as you have captured here. Very nice processing, too. #10819546Dale Hardin August 25, 2013 0
Thanks Susan and thanks to everyone for the good ideas. #10819681Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
