What is a Cheese Curd?
Uploaded: August 18, 2013

Well, I certainly have not tasted a cheese curd (fried, it appears), but there was a long queue of people lining up to pay $11 to have their very own!
----
This was at the Auto Show and Street Festival in South Philly a couple of weeks ago.

The dancing man was just about 20 yards away.

These are a big hit back home in Wisconsin. They are very delicious. And yes, it is fried cheese. Think you would enjoy. A wonderful picture of one of the more popular venders at the fair. #10812951Antonio Amen August 19, 2013

Love the moment as she passes the goodies with that big smile.Monnie Ryan August 19, 2013
I love cheese, including the fried kind, but not sure about this stuff (and I sure wouldn't pay $11 for one)! Outstanding capture! #10813301Neal D. Hatcher August 19, 2013

I don't know what a cheese curd is, but I think it sounds better than a fried Twinkie. #10813882Rona L. Schwarz August 19, 2013
Oh my, is this Philly's answer to Poutine!! But I don't see any gravy, so it seems to be missing something! Was at our State Fair the other day and I must be all grown up because I wouldn't eat anything! Great street capture, though! #10814051Emile Abbott August 26, 2013
Love that smile on her face as she make a sale. Fried cheese and I say a potential patient in the CCU. #10821541Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
