If you were to travel up the coast, I'd LOVE to spend a day in Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve. Best times to be there are Mid-to-late April an May and then July and then perhaps October and Winter for the sheer joy of the hillside and woodlands. Hurricanes have lately taken their toll of older trees, but the flowers have been luscious this rainy year.
