Description

This was my son's fit Nikon kit! Well, minus his fedora! We decided to play with a little still life again!

Nikon D7000 and 18-200 mm lens. Other data not available. Sorry, Jeff! It's an older photo we did and I reworked it in LR5 and Nik Color Efx. No flash; only natural lighting.

Very nice Kalena. I have no ability to set up a still life at all. I do wish that the camera was not so hidden though. #1536739

My only concern is the tight space at the borders, I'd give it more room if you have it. Particularly on the top and right sides. #10772297

Great composition, Kalena. The hat really adds a story line. I think you did a pretty good job with the draping, too. #10772565

Dale's right. Setting stills is hard. We used a big chair for this so it was difficult to get the hat and the camera to sit properly. Talk about balancing. I do wish I would have gotten the front of the camera a bit more, but it is what it is! :-)

Jeff I had to crop in or I would have gotten the arms of the chair. Again tight spaces before the shot! lol

The fedora is my son's and he wears them all the time. We included it in the shot to personalize more to him since it was his first Nikon!

Sure is fun trying to do these when it's so hot a humid here! Can't go out to shoot - too many experiences with heat exhaustion. :-(
