Washington All-State Marching Band
Uploaded: July 09, 2013
---
The state of Washington was well represented by this magnificent marching band comprised of hundreds of musicians and flag twirlers.
----
It must have been VERY difficult for these young people from the COOL northwestern state to bear the sweltering heat and humidity in Philadelphia on Independence Day. My clothes were saturated and sticking to me in a MOST uncomfortable way.
----
Note: As the band marched by, I noted several marchers who were blind and holding onto the instrument harnesses of the band member walking in front of them.

The band readies to being their performance. It took a LONG time for the entire Washington All-State High School Marching Band to pass by the spot where I was standing. #1535443Karen E. Michaels July 09, 2013
