At the Dentist's Office
Uploaded: July 03, 2013
----
One of my old dental crowns came loose, so I made an appointment to get it re-cemented. Lo and Behold...I wound up needing an emergency molar extraction on the opposite side of my jaw! (AND a NEW crown). Another tooth from HELL, and there had been NO PAIN--up to now.
----
But...going from the ridiculous to the sublime, this massive display of cone flowers (and other beauties) are in the lush garden near the office entrance. All I had was my iPhone, which has no controls for lighting.
---
I used several different oil-painting filters, including TOPAZ "Simplify" and Photoshop's "Oil Painting" filter, and blended the layers with the original shot. The result elicited a smile, even though the Novacaine (R) had not yet worn off!

I'd say this is one of your crowning achievements, Michelle (ouch)! #10754877Mitch Spence July 03, 2013
I am sorry for your miserable dental experience (aren't they all?), but I'm pleased that you found this. I think you need to offer it to the dentist as visual, eye candy, Novocain (oh, I guess they don't use that anymore) as a wall print. And charge him or her the same fee as was charged you! #10755312John Connolly July 03, 2013
