Returning to "Make Music Philly" Day...

It's a Popup Garden, across Broad Street from the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.

What is a Popup Garden? Well...it quite literally "Popped up" in April in a vacant lot. The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society planted "clouds" of colorful flowers and herbs in the lot, bordered by probably 200+-yr-old brick walls. Visitors choose from various types of cozy seating (These pallettes were donated by the Philadelphia Flower Show). Buy some munchies, or bring your own, and in the evenings, listen to a musical act.

But hurry...it will all disappear in October. If you miss it, look for it to Pop Up somewhere else in the City next Spring.
