Description

----
Not a big story here, except that bees in North America are dying off in terrifying numbers. What happens to life as we know it, when pollination ceases?
----
Zac Browning, a fourth-generation commercial beekeeper who has hives in Idaho, North Dakota and California, said the nation is "on the brink" of not having enough bees to pollinate its crops.

Fabulous details and great tones, Michelle. People need to be aware of the crises we are facing. #10723610

Sad facts, but a beautifully captured image! #10723627

Love the tones and mood you created. What a shame about the bee. Now that I think about it, I have not seen nearly as many bees and I did 4 o 5 years ago. #10723642

Exquisite capture!! So sad about the bees though. My brother is a beekeeper and has seen first hand the bee populations decline :-( #10723685

Just gorgeous, Michelle! And I agree the declining bee population is a real problem. #10723698

Actually it is a big story. We mess with the way things get pollinated and nature will react, and not to the good for us. I love the soft colors of the flower and how you let the bee be the main subject. Beautifully done my friend. #10724840

Beautiful capture, Michelle. I had a hive of bumble bees make a home in one of my birdhouses this year! #10725463

Beautiful capture and story to go with it Michelle, it really is a shame at the alarming rate that the bees are dying off. #10726692
