Grandmother, Perhaps

Grandmother, Perhaps

Uploaded: May 26, 2013

Description

---
At the Cheyney University Commencement, this woman, bouquet-in-hand, is waiting for one of the graduates to emerge from the ceremony. I did not speak with her, but I imagine she is a proud grandmother.
----
The ceremony was LONG, and she had been sitting here, outside the tent enclosure, for over two hours, during which rain fell several times.

The lady has some kind of patience and can endure. I know that this had to be such a proud moment for her and nothing was going to ruin it. Again, black and white is the best choice for your portraits, I just love the look. These candid shots are among my favorite. Work of a master my friend. #10707313
