Gresham Mill

Uploaded: May 05, 2013

Gresham Mill, in Canton, Georgia, is known as Sixes Mill by the locals since it is on Sixes Road. Sixes is the Cherokee word for the number 6. The mill was built around 1820 by gold prospectors and later rebuilt between 1878 and 1880.

Thank you, Susan and Jo Ann. This was on private property, so I had to shoot through a fence. There were some angles that were better for the mill; others were better for the falls. I think this was the best compromise. #10683775
